Shanna brings her creative eye and background in journalism, media, design, and photography, as well as her passion for weddings and Super 8 film to Nostalgia Film. She first shot film photography and learned to develop in a darkroom while still in high school and fell in love with Super 8mm film while studying Radio-Television-Film at UT Austin. She made her first film on B&W Super 8 film in the ’90s and was hooked!
She has worked in communications and oversees all aspects of Nostalgia Film. See her press, awards, and exhibitions, which include her film photography being published in ELLE UK, a photograph on exhibit at Branigan Cultural Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Holga photography published on Messy Nessy Chic, and an exhibit at the former (much beloved) Quack’s Coffee Shop, “Reflections… The Czech Cultural Continuum” along with her classmates after spending a summer studying in Prague (and shooting 18 rolls of film). Her videography work has been featured on blogs like Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, and many more.
