Last fall, Victor and I traveled to Round Top, Texas, for a day of antique shopping. I took along 35mm film and an analog camera and captured some fun and colorful finds. We spent the morning at Marburger Farm, then the afternoon and evening combing the fields and exploring the tiny town. I scored a vintage garnet ring, a new-to-us ’50s aqua dinette set, and some cowgirl boots for our daughter. The next morning before heading back to Austin, we stopped into Junk Gypsy World Headquarters to look around and gather up some DIY inspiration of our own (as well as snag their book!).
I thought I’d blog it now, since the next antique weekend is coming at the end of March. For those of you in Austin like us, I highly recommend a day trip or weekend getaway!
