Jess and Anthony got married in the Catholic Church in San Antonio on a beautiful fall day. They shot photos after the wedding in downtown San Antonio at St. Paul Square, then had the reception at The Convent, a beautiful, historical venue. The day was full of lots of love and lots of DIY projects, including an amazing dessert table spread, baked by the bride, bouquets made by the wedding party and the bride, festive pennant flags and a guestbook typewriter, a DIY photo booth created by the bride, and handmade invitations and gifts for the bridesmaids.
When the couple initially contacted us, they said, “I’m a local photographer and he’s an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker. We’re young, in love…” and we just knew we had to shoot their wedding! We’re so glad we got to be a part of their day.
Nostalgia Film filmed it all on a variety of Super 8mm film stocks and created this wedding highlight film for the couple.
